Every day we help East Contra Costa County residents get to BART, work, school, the doctor, the library, parks, the movies, shopping centers, the grocery store, recreation activities, or just across town to visit family & friends.

Monday - Friday: 3:00 am to 12:00 am*
Saturday: 6:00am - 1:00 am*
Sunday: 7:00 am - 1:00 am*

*Transportation availability is subject to the fixed route hours. ADA Paratransit transportation is available during the same days and hours that Tri Delta Transit's fixed route bus service operates. You may request a pick-up within ¾ mile of a fixed bus route during the days and hours of service the bus route operates.


Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Disabled status is strictly limited to those who have limitations that prevent them from using accessible fixed route transportation. If you are found to be capable of using fixed route bus service, you will not be eligible for ADA paratransit transportation.

Application Required for Tri Delta Transit Paratransit: To obtain an application for paratransit, you may visit Tri Delta Transit's administrative office at 801 Wilbur Avenue in Antioch or call (925) 754-6622 to get an application by mail.

You must fully complete the application form and return it to Tri Delta Transit.

Caring Hands provides free, escorted rides by screened and trained volunteers as part of our one on one long term match program. In addition to providing transportation and escort to medical appointments, shopping and errands, matched volunteers also provide friendly visiting and companionship, respite care to give a break to a family caregiver, reading mail, and letter writing.


Over the age of 60, living independently in their own home.


A phone interview and a home assessment by a social worker are required. Due to high demand there is usually a waiting list for services.

Mobility Matters operates a  volunteer driver program, that provides free, one on one, door through door, escorted rides by screened and trained volunteers using their own cars.


Essentially homebound, ambulatory (with or without walking aides) seniors over age 60 who do not have access to safe, appropriate transportation for medical and dental care and  grocery shopping. Riders must require door through door escort with elbow or standby assistance to qualify.


Telephone interview with a follow up in home assessment. The application to be completed by a staff member.
