City-based programs are provided by the following Contra Costa County cities: Concord; El Cerrito; Lafayette; Orinda; Pleasant Hill; Richmond; San Pablo; San Ramon; and Walnut Creek. All of the city-based programs provide door to door or curb to curb service. They are designed to add another level of service available to older adults or disabled residents in the city.
Residents of Concord who are 65 and older.

Applications will be accepted on Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Senior Center. Bring photo ID to verify your age and address.
Subject to change. Each book is $15 with a scrip value of $30. Registered seniors may purchase a maximum of 2 books per month.
Must be a resident of El Cerrito. El Cerrito Easy Ride services are available to persons with a disability who are 18 and over. Older adults who are 65 or more are also eligible.

Residents of Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda—Age 60 and up.
Destinations within Lamorinda as well as to Concord, Martinez, Pleasant Hill, and Walnut Creek.
Weekdays: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Sunday morning to church.

Subject to Change. Rides to errands and appointments are currently $5.00 one-way, $10.00 round-trip for destinations within Lamorinda and $10.00 one-way, $20.00 round-trip for destinations outside of Lamorinda. Rides for residents of low income senior housing are $4.00 one-way and $8.00 round-trip to destinations within Lamorinda as well as to Concord, Martinez, Pleasant Hill, and Walnut Creek. Rides to the C.C. Café are $2.50 one-way, $5.00 round-trip. Call when you make your appointment or at least two business days ahead of time by 1:00 p.m. to schedule your ride. We love to say, “Yes!” so advance notice is helpful. Rides are available to: errands, medical/personal appointments, shopping, workshops, social visits, and the Walnut Creek C.C. Café.
Resident of Pleasant Hill and at least 55 years of age.
Anyone wishing to use the van service must first register. Forms are available at City Hall, 100 Gregory Lane, or by calling 671-5272. Please allow up to 1 week for the application to be received and reviewed; a welcome letter will be sent once the application has been approved.

1. Residency Requirement: Applicant must reside in one of the following cities/areas: Richmond; El Sobrante; Kensington; and the unincorporated communities of East Richmond Heights; Hasford Heights; Rollingwood; and North Richmond.
2. Age OR Disability: Seniors (age 55 or older) who meet the residency requirement qualify for service. Applicants between ages of 18-54 must provide proof of disability.

Fees are subject to change. R-Transit program utilizes a coupon system to collect fares. Reservations made one – ten days in advance cost $4.00 one-way; same day reservations are $5.00 one-way. An attendant may ride with the participant at no additional charge. Registered clients must purchase coupon books to use the service.

An application must be completed. Rides are made by reservation 24 hours in advance. New riders receive a free book of tickets upon registration.
Fees are subject to change. $1 per ride. Riders can purchase a book of tickets from the San Pablo Senior Center (1943 Church Lane). The book is equivalent to 10 rides or 5 round trip rides. Cost for the book is $10 and can be purchased by check or cash.

For Senior Center service, the van leaves the Senior Center at 8:30 am to begin pickup service (Monday - Friday). It leaves the Senior Center 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm on Tues & Thurs and 1:00 pm – 1:30 pm on Mon, Wed, and Fri. There is also a Shopping Service to local grocery and drug stores that runs every first and third Thursday of the month. It begins at 10:00 am with pickups at the Senior Center, Sunny Glen, Villa San Ramon, and Valley Vista Apts. It returns to your original pickup point by noon.
Rides are by reservation made 24 hours in advance.
Fees are subject to change. Rides are $3. For those with Encore Membership, it is $2.
Resident of Walnut Creek and a member of the Walnut Creek Senior Club
